We’ll Play Our Part – Learning Tracks

We’ll Play Our Part was written in April 2020, for choirs finding themselves not able to meet in person.  It’s written in an accessible musical-theatre style, as is available for SATB piano and will soon be available here as a two-part version with piano also.

The lyrics of verse 1 are:

We stay apart
and we don’t know for how long we have to sing alone
But staying strong
so more voices can join us in chorus one day soon

Followed by the chorus:

Though we’re apart from everyone
We are a part of everything
and every day everyone in different ways and places
is facing this difficult phase
So don’t lose heart
let’s make a start
let’s make our art
We’re here to stay
we’re here to say
We’ll play our part
