Viva La Vida – Learning Tracks

One of Coldplay’s most popular songs.  An absolute feel good punchy and rhythmic anthemic song that is all about the consonants – even though it seems to be very wordy it just rolls off the tongue.  The tenors get the wonderful chanting section near the end.  Recommended for an end of concert!  Fairly straightforward to construct – each of the verses having the same structure.  The little break in the middle is the only diversion from the form which will take a little bit of work.

This is an excellent up-beat song to pull out when the audience wants to hear something big! It’s the peak of our performance! We particularly love to hear the tenors in their ‘solo’ towards the end.
