The White Cliffs Of Dover – Learning Tracks

This is a classic take on a classic song, and it includes the less well-known introduction to the song, as well as the very well-known chorus. Some of the harmonies are quite spicy, and need careful work to tune well, but it is definitely achievably by a non-auditioned amateur choir. The “instrumental” section features flowing, interweaving lines from all voice parts, and the key change towards the end helps to lift the final section.

This arrangement works equally well with a live piano accompaniment, or the custom-made backing track available below (which features a small jazz combo suited to the original period).
