The Water of Tyne – Sheet Music

I wrote this arrangement for 4-part boys choir as an assignment on the ‘changing voice’ whilst at Roehampton Institute during my PCGE year. This newly revised score is for 4-part voices and would be ideal for any mixed choir.

After the opening solo verse, the tenors and basses sing the familiar tune in unison together, followed by a more challenging unaccompanied verse with hums, where basses divide to create an extra rich lower texture. After a subtle key change, verse 1 returns with the whole choir singing in glorious harmony!
