The Swimming Song is a playful song by London Wainwright III about taking a plunge!
In this arrangement the verses are sung in a simple 2 part texture, breaking into 4 parts for the interludes.
Extra work is usually needed to make all those lyrics rhythmically slick. Try chanting practice and lots of repetition.
I originally arranged this for Chaps Choir and added the claps & double clap in the interludes as ways to engage and play with the audience. These can be omitted or adjusted as necessary.
You can find Chaps Choir’s live version on their YouTube channel.
