This piece tells the Nativity story from the point of view of the Star of Bethlehem. It is equally suitable to be sung accompanied or a capella, and there are two different voicings available (SSA and SATB). The simple rhythms give space for the song to breathe. If possible, using staggered breathing where necessary, the change of phrasing the final verse is really effective.
