The Old Churchyard – Sheet Music

A beautiful and haunting folk song of which there is very little information.  Some web research reveals that it appeared in many old Hymnaries, yet it doesn’t seem to have
any substantial liturgical basis.  Nevertheless it might have been useful as a remembrance hymn to the fallen or those to be remembered with love.

The most famous recorded version seems to be by the Watersons but there are quite a few.  I have tried to distribute the melody around the parts so it’s not all top heavy.
