The Keel Row – Learning Tracks

I first heard/learnt this song on a weekend singing trip to Beamish when I was about 12. I loved it then, and I still love it now. However, it is a bit of an ear worm so be warned!

All the parts have the tune at some point and each chorus is exactly the same until you get to the repeated choruses at the end.
The baritone part is quite high in some places and quite low in others. If the Tenors can’t sing any of the low bits, they can sing them up an octave. And any basses singing this will need to warm up well!
