Sweet Child Of Mine – Learning Tracks

I arranged this for an assignment on the “Innovative Choir Leading” masters course at the Royal College of Music in Denmark in 2022. The task was to re-imagine a song so I took this rock classic and turned it into a gentle hymn-like composition with rich chords and lovely vocal effects. The words feel as though they are being sung about an actual child – the original was about Axl Rose’s girlfriend. The bridge is an added section to give a joyful lift in the middle of the song.
