A classic ancient Irish Folk Song given a haunting SATB treatment. There should always be a fluid approach to the rhythms here – if it feels natural to pull and push various phrases then feel free – but a good knowledge of the notes is required first so you can move all together. The use of aahs oohs and mms (for the intros, links and verse 3) is purely arbitrary and you can follow whichever backings sound best for your choir.
