Rounds 11 – Resource PackView Craig McLeish's Full Store
Pandemic Lockdown has thrown up some weird stuff – through sheer inertia we have found ourselves spending time worrying about all sorts of otherwise trivial things and then spending more time sharing them on social media (I hope you know what I’m talking about otherwise this isn’t going to mean very much).
By way of example I had a problem a few weeks ago when my bread (very nice – from the local baker which I had to queue up 20 minutes for) was too big for what I thought was quite a normal sized toaster). After musing for a while on how this was probably the least of my problems right now I found myself singing a little song about it, which became a round which I used in my zoom choir sessions that week, desperate for new material.
In a weak moment I decided to share the situation on Facebook, curious to know if anyone else had had a similar problem they wanted to share and thought nothing more about it. By the next day I had over 100 further suggestions, the best 2 of which I wrote tunes for and here they are.
There’s nothing much more to say other than I hope you enjoy them and if you have any lockdown laments you have encountered over the last 12 months then please share them with us – maybe in a review on this page or you could email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
