Never Forget – Learning Tracks

I arranged this for a Sing for Water event in 2016 involving children and adult choirs. The children sing the introduction and the ending accompanied by a drone from the sopranos and altos and the main adult choir starts at the first verse.  The children added off-beat finger clicks on the verses which helped keep the rhythm.

It needs a strong tenor section (of male and female voices) to sing the tune in the verses and a steady rhythmic drive from the basses.  If your choir is versatile it is fun to incorporate a semi-tone key change up for the last 2 choruses (in true boy band style).

Unaccompanied (S)SATB, intermediate, suitable for any SATB group including community choir especially in combination with a children’s choir.
