Hands up Julie Andrews fans! I am one for sure, and most people love this song love this song genuinely or ironically, in equal measure. It is good to sing this at a healthy pace with very clear ‘baps’ on the pulse. We usually sing it twice as it is over in a heart beat. Lots of lovely little additions to the original (little echoes and counter melodies). Every one has a fairly equal opportunity at lyrics and it is such a jolly piece.
