Money Money Money – Sheet Music
View Wendy Sergeant's Full StoreThis is a slightly tongue-in-cheek version of the song, inspired by the kitsch rendition in the film Mamma Mia! It requires strong, controlled tempo throughout and serious but with a twinkle-in-the-eye delivery! The “ding ding dings” at the beginning need to be needle-point accurate and sharply staccato. The “down down” (alto and tenor) before “ain’t it sad” needs lots of twang to sound like guitars. My favourite bit is the “aah-aah-aah, all the things I could do” in the tenor which should be sung with full commitment! The words “and if he happened to be free I bet he wouldn’t fancy me” are best sung with completely straight faces. ABBA-style choreography works well with this one!
