Mary Had A Baby – Sheet Music

A Traditional spiritual carol of unknown origin, but I do remember singing this at school while listening to the BBC Radio 4 “Singing Together” programme.  The music is the same for each verse so it’s very easy to put together.  We’ve just added a few key changes to raise the spirits!  Watch out for the ending too – a little variation in the final line.

We have provided a piano part or a backing track depending on your resources – the backing track can be purchased separately as a single copy from the button below.  When using live piano you can decide how many “vamp” bars to have between verses – on the track we have used two, but four when there’s a key change.
