Love Sings – Learning Tracks

Love Sings was composed by Jennifer John in celebration of the life affirming effects of collective singing that creates an awesome energy for the performers and audiences alike.  Jennifer says “Music is a universal language and a uniquely powerful way of giving people a platform on which to have a shared voice. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, where you are from or what language you speak.  The energy it unleashes is powerful, empowering and contagious.  It connects people to each other musically, physically, emotionally and spiritually and teaches us that when we connect by singing together we become more compassionately and empathetically connected as human beings and less divided.”

Sing the song smiling as much as possible in order to lift and brighten the sound.  Increased energy and commitment in the choruses with exaggerated emphasis on consonants will help to convey the message of the lyrics in the most dynamic way.
