Love Came Down At Christmas – Learning Tracks

This was the song commissioned by the winners of our “16 seconds of sound” competition, The Bishop Stortford Gospel Choir.  It’s a poem by Christina Rosetti, and I thought a minor key would provide a nice contrast from the usual chirpy happy xmas stuff.  You can now decide for yourself because although they had sole use of it for 1 year now it’s available to anyone.

It has a repetitive Bass ostinato for the intro and verses but they have the melody in the middle section, an all too rare occurrence!
