Little Child – Learning Tracks

Little Child is a beautiful choral piece which was written by Gitika for a secondary school choir to celebrate the millennium with the message of love, rebirth and forgiveness.  Since then she has extended the arrangement from 2 parts and piano into SSAA with piano (which is available here as a track for rehearsals).  It might be a great addition to a Christmas/Winter concert.  There are two main themes in section A which are sung woven together, the B section is a little more urgent – ‘take the child and fly to a place where he is safe’.  The original themes return with lush harmonies weaving around each other again for the last section.
