Let It Snow (TBB) – Learning TracksView Keely Hodgson's Full Store
The introduction to this familiar 1945 Christmas song (apparently written in Hollywood during a heatwave!), needs good articulation and lightness to achieve short, crisp words. The overall mood of this arrangement is good-humoured and playful with rhythmic duet textures between tenor and baritone, whilst bass sings legato, steady lines, occasionally punctuating the 3-part texture with the word “snow”.
This is a fun arrangement for three-part male voice choir, and the rehearsal tracks have made it very easy for my choir to learn.
