Let It Snow (SAA) – Learning Tracks

The introduction to this familiar 1945 Christmas song (apparently written in Hollywood during a heatwave!), needs good articulation and lightness to achieve short, crisp words. The overall mood of this arrangement is good-humoured and playful with rhythmic duet textures between soprano and alto 1, whilst alto 2 sings legato, steady bass-style lines, occasionally punctuating the 3-part texture with the word “snow”.
