Jolene – Learning Tracks

A great party piece and a lot of fun to sing and a very  popular song  for both audiences and singers.  In 5 parts – altos split into alto 1 and 2.  A song most people know, this arrangement gives the song a real lift.  There are three main sections – the intro (which happens at the beginning, middle and end – a cornucopia of rhythmic dums and claps), the verse, where everyone sings the words, and the chorus which has lovely punctuated vocals in the middle parts and a very satisfying bass part again with words.
