I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll – Learning Tracks

There’s bags of soft-rock attitude in this easy, fun, three-part a cappella arrangement. Alto 1 has the tune, with Soprano and Alto 2 harmonising above and below. Nominate your rockiest singer to do the ‘oww!’ in every intro/ bridge, and have fun bending the notes together in ‘me, yeah, me’ and ‘I love rock ‘n’ roll’. Hand claps are notated in the intro/ bridge – these could be clap-clap-fingerclick (as on the learning tracks), or thigh slap-thigh slap-clap, or whatever body percussion you like.

For upper voices. Range: up to C in the soprano (the ‘oww!’ is notated as a slide down from E, but feel free to do this in your own style), Eb3-F4 in Alto 2.
