Handbags and Gladrags – Backing Track

View Timothy Allen's Full Store

There are several well-known versions of this song, including the Stereophonics, Rod Stewart, and the “Big Al” version used as the title track for the TV show “The Office”. There’s a real bitterness in the lyrics, as the singer rails against the short-sighted nature of youth and their pursuit of fashion – the more this can be brought out in performance, the more of an effect it will have on audiences.
