A bit of a different take (pun intended) on a traditional classic, but this has the extra fun element of being in 5/4 time and uses the groove from Dave Brubeck’s famous “Take 5” as its starting point. The arrangement also changes as it goes along, so we’ve put this in the intermediate category.
Verse 1 is an easy unison, verse 2 layers oohs and aahs above a bass led tune, and verse 3 has countermelodic parts and goes quite high! We have also supplied the piano alone as a performance backing track (click on the button below to access it), but the chords are above the stave if you have a jazz pianist handy.
