The Female Drummer – Learning Tracks

A rousing folk arrangement with a refreshing female perspective.  There are slaps and claps punctuating the rousing melody.  It can be arranged with the soprano and alto starting verse one and being joined by the other parts.  The last verse has an interesting variation where all the other parts are singing ‘to beat upon a drum’ which adds a lovely bit of rhythmic variety to the song.  A very popular piece with the choirs.
