Eternal Father – Sheet Music

This famous old hymn with its memorable refrain “For those in peril on the sea” is often sung at Royal Occasions, especially when the Navy are featured.

I was thinking the words were especially apt for the RNLI anniversary, but that the tune
was quite dated despite being very recognisable. You can always use the hymnbook tune but I hope some choirs will find this more accessible.

I have written a new melody, with harmonies in the chorus, which tries to sit more in the
community choir style. There is a piano part, and we have provided a track if you don’t have anyone who can play it.
