Down To Earth – Learning Tracks

This Peter Gabriel song was written for the animated film “WALL-E”, and features in its closing credits. It has a strong environmental message, and is also really funky and fun to sing! There are some angular rhythms that take a bit of getting used to, but once you’ve got the hang of them, they give a real sassiness to the song. Despite not being terribly well-known, it has been a huge hit with choirs and audiences alike.
