Danny Boy – Learning Tracks

I have been meaning to arrange this for my Community Choir for years now.  Most a capella arrangements of Danny Boy tend to over complicate the harmony or they have too many divisi parts, and I really wanted to avoid that if possible.

I have tried to keep things simple but hopefully not boring,  and keep to the folky harmony that people associate with the song.

That’s all there is to say – I hope you enjoy this, it’s a favourite tune for so many!

Danny Boy

Our village choir has been on its summer break. The tracks and music were sent to some of the members and they were asked to listen and learn their part. This is the first time we have used this approach. We met for a social gathering this week and tried out the piece and I was really pleased with the result.
Several members of the choir said how much they enjoyed the arrangement – Thank you ChoirCommunity.
