Blow The Wind Southerly – Learning Tracks

A folk song many people of a certain age will remember being sung by much loved Lancastrian contralto Kathleen Ferrier.  This version gives a little lift to the piece, as the first beat of the bar ‘the one’ is more marked and the slightly faster tempo gives resounding feeling to sway or motion – a beautiful song.  The verse chorus format with an extension /outro at the end means it is a fairly straight forward song to learn/teach.
