Auld Lang Syne – Learning Tracks

Auld Lang Syne is an old Scottish poem by Robert Burns which has been set to a traditional tune. It is farewell or ending song with achingly beautiful lyrics about friendship and reflection. We tend to associate this song with slightly drunken singing as the clock strikes midnight and we welcome in the New Year, however this arrangement tries to connect with the sentiment and tenderness in the text.
