A Rovin’ – Resource Pack

Also known as ‘The Maid of Amsterdam’, this sea shanty has it’s origins dating back to the 1600’s.  Attributed to a number of different sources of the time, with as many different versions of the lyrics, all seem to contain some form of cautionary tale for sailors’ amorous encounters abroad.  One to have fun with!
