The start of December saw the ChoirCommunity team meet up at the MAC in Birmingham for a pre-launch meeting.

As a geographically dispersed group of people, it was the first time that some of us had met in person so it was great to get together and make final plans for the ‘Go Live’.

The good news is that everything is on track to launch ChoirCommunity on 1st January.

It will be a slightly ‘softer’ launch than perhaps hoped earlier in the year. The process of licensing the arrangements to make them available to choirs has proved challenging and taken longer than we expected.

But things are now progressing well. Even though there’ll be fewer arrangements available than planned to start with,  we expect the list to grow quickly as the licensing process is smoothed out.

There’s still a lot of work for our three founding arrangers to do to get all their titles ready, but they’re up for the challenge and excited to be part of this new initiative!
