It’s been a while, but we have finally got ourselves into the position of looking for some new arrangers to join the team!

ChoirCommunity is now in its sixth year and we are really proud of what we have achieved over this time. We now have well over 1100 downloadable titles available, all created by our 22 talented choir leaders, arrangers, composers and musicians from around the UK and abroad.  Since January 2018, over 250,000 copies of music have been downloaded from the site by the 6,700 choirs around the world who have joined up by registering an account.  We’re now looking to build on that start by continuing to expand the team of arrangers and the scope of our music library.

Like many small-scale enterprises, we initially grew very organically, taking referrals from people we knew, as well as using our own contacts to find the best people who were also willing to join the team. In 2021, we opened up a more structured application process for new arrangers for the first time which resulted in seven more talented musicians joining the team.

It’s taken a bit longer than originally planned to open up the process again, but we’re finally ready to do that now!

If you think you have a suitable collection of arrangements which might help to expand the ChoirCommunity portfolio, then we’d love to hear from you.  There are definitely areas of music which we are stronger in that others and our ambition is to be able to provide the best quality choral music for every type of choir out there so nothing is off the table!
